NFC Writer (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.

  • NFC Tag Data: Content you read from or write to NFC tags (text, URLs, custom data, JSON programs)
  • History Records: Timestamps, data types, and content of read/write operations
  • Custom Templates: Template names, descriptions, and content you create

  • Device Information: We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or analytics
  • Usage Data: We do not track how you use the App

How We Use Your Information

All data you create in NFC Writer is:

  • Stored Locally: All NFC records, history, and templates are stored exclusively on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework
  • Never Transmitted: We do not send your data to any servers or third parties
  • User Controlled: You have complete control over your data and can delete it at any time

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

  • All app data is stored locally on your iOS device
  • Data persists between app launches using iOS secure storage
  • Data is protected by your device’s security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)

iCloud (Optional)

  • If you enable iCloud backup in iOS Settings, your NFC Writer data may be included in your device backup
  • This is controlled entirely by iOS system settings, not by our App
  • We do not have access to your iCloud data

Data Retention

  • Data remains on your device until you:
    • Manually delete records from History
    • Delete the App
    • Restore your device
  • Free users: History limited to 10 most recent records (older records automatically removed)
  • Pro users: Unlimited history storage

Third-Party Services

Apple StoreKit

  • We use Apple’s StoreKit framework for in-app purchases (Pro upgrade)
  • Apple may collect transaction information according to their privacy policy
  • We do not receive or store your payment information
  • Transaction verification is handled by Apple’s servers

No Other Third Parties

  • We do not use analytics services
  • We do not use advertising networks
  • We do not integrate social media platforms
  • We do not use crash reporting services (unless iOS system opt-in)

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your data with third parties because:

  • We do not collect identifiable information
  • All data remains on your device
  • We have no servers or databases

Export Features

  • Pro users can export history as CSV or JSON files
  • Exports are controlled by you and shared using iOS share sheet
  • We do not receive copies of exported data
  • You choose recipients when sharing individual records

Your Rights and Choices

Access Your Data

  • View all records in the History tab
  • Review templates in Advanced Write section

Delete Your Data

  • Swipe to delete individual history records
  • Use Edit mode to bulk delete records
  • Delete the App to remove all data permanently

Export Your Data

  • Pro users can export complete history
  • Choose CSV or JSON format
  • Create full backups for personal archives

Opt-Out of Data Collection

  • There is no data collection to opt out of
  • All features work entirely offline

Children’s Privacy

NFC Writer does not:

  • Collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13
  • Require account creation
  • Include social features or chat
  • Display advertisements
  • Link to external websites (except in this privacy policy)

The App is suitable for all ages but requires understanding of NFC technology.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to:

  • Reflect changes in the App’s features
  • Comply with legal requirements
