OnceHere is designed with privacy at its core. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled when you use the app.

Overview

OnceHere does not collect, store, or track personal data on external servers. All your memories are stored locally on your device and optionally synced securely using Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit).

Data Storage

  • Your memories (photos, notes, locations, emotions) are stored only on your device.
  • If iCloud sync is enabled, your data is stored in your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit.
  • The developer of OnceHere cannot access your data at any time.

iCloud (CloudKit) Sync

OnceHere uses Apple’s CloudKit to sync your data across your devices.

  • Data is tied to your Apple ID
  • Apple manages authentication and storage
  • Data is encrypted and handled according to Apple’s privacy standards

Data Collection

OnceHere does not:

  • Collect personal information
  • Track user activity
  • Use analytics or third-party tracking tools
  • Share any data with third parties

Location Data

Location is used only to allow you to save memories to specific places.

  • Location data is stored locally or in your iCloud
  • It is never transmitted to external servers
  • You can control location permissions anytime in iOS Settings

Photos

If you choose to add photos to your memories:

  • Photos are accessed only with your permission
  • They are stored locally or in your iCloud
  • OnceHere does not upload or process photos externally

Purchases

OnceHere offers a one-time purchase to unlock unlimited memories.

  • Payments are handled by Apple via the App Store
  • OnceHere does not store or process payment information

Data Deletion

You have full control over your data:

  • Deleting a memory removes it permanently from your device and iCloud
  • Deleting the app removes all local data
  • iCloud data can be managed via your Apple ID settings

Children’s Privacy

OnceHere does not knowingly collect any personal data from children.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated in the future. Any changes will be reflected within the app or on this page.
